“Today, our hearts are heavy as we share this disturbing sight,” Norfolk SPCA wrote in a Fb submit together with a CCTV footage of a lady parking in entrance of the shelter to desert her canine.
The animal shelter explains, “A sweet little puppy was found abandoned and tied to a pole outside our facility while we were closed. Her owner abandoned her and tied her to a loose piece of a gutter at the front step.”

“Good Samaritans saved her life. This poor pup had no choice but to wait for someone to help, and we are so grateful that she was found safe,” Norfolk SPCA wrote.

“We believe every animal deserves a loving home, and we can’t help but feel the pain of how this little one was treated,” Norfolk SPCA wrote.

“It broke my heart to see how someone could do something like that to her, or any animal, that there are other options,” Tomosovich stated. “And anyone that has a dog that they can’t keep, or can’t take care [of], just please — there are other options not to tie them to a gutter and walk away. She’s so lucky to be alive, and so many dogs aren’t.”
Wavy reveals that SPCA named the canine Grace, however within the spirit of Christmas, Tomosovich renamed her to Holly Grace.
“It seemed like an omen to me because I had just lost my dog of 13 years, and her name was Grace,” Tomosovich revealed.
Tomosovich reveals that Holly Grace laid down on her lap virtually instantly. “And I just knew. I think we both knew that she’s where she needs to be, with me. And I’m able to be home with her now, and she’s lot lots of love, and lots of attention.”
